Lifehacker readers chose their favourite email clients

In a recent poll performed at Lifehacker more than 1000 of their readers have chosen the following 5 email clients as the best ones around:
1. Microsoft Outlook
2. Apple Mail
3. Thunderbird
4. GMail
5. Postbox
As you can see, they didn’t restrict the voting to only standalone email applications or web-based email clients, but they did specify that web-based tools had to have distinctly client-like features.
